This 400sq.ft. condo was in horrible condition when purchased. Covered in smoker’s tar, cooking grease, and in general distress; it was in need of a complete makeover. With a budget of $13K and a target buyer projected to be a first time 30’s something urbanite, design was key.
Special attention was spent on addressing the walls, scraping the plaster ceiling, and adding a frosted glass partition wall to give privacy in the bedroom. New trendy hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances, light fixtures, including the addition of pot lights, bathroom vanity and fixtures, faucets, and enhancements to kitchen cabinetry and shower applied the right touch.
Sealing the exposed concrete ceiling and adding LED lighting under the kitchen cabinetry and overhung countertop gave the condo a WOW factor. The condo went into a multiple offer situation and sold over asking in less then a week.
