This house had not been touched since the 1960’s (excluding some newer windows) and needed a complete gut. We stripped the house down to the stud walls, excavated the basement, and properly disposed of the asbestos.

New design elements included an open concept main floor, changing the layout of the master bedroom including vaulting the ceiling, opening up a masonry wall allowing light in from a rear mudroom, and adding a second 3pc. bathroom in the basement. New electrical, plumbing, drains, HVAC, and insulation on exterior walls/roof created value.

The hardwood on the second floor was saved and restored. Other features included a drain water heat recovery pipe, electrifying the detached garage, new roofing, millwork, cabinetry, lighting, landscaping, and a restored front porch.

The house was sold after the renovations with multiple offers and over asking.
